Introduction: Synchronous gynecological cancer is a rare entity of special clinical and pathological interest, it is known as those neoplasms that occur in the same patient, simultaneously or successively. The most frequent cancer synchronicity reported is that of the endometrium-ovary; however, this clinical entity can appear in the cervix-ovary, cervix-endometrium; It can be double or triple and even synchronous with the ovary in situ. Objective: To demonstrate the experience regarding the diagnosis and management of gynecological synchronous cancer in the gynecological oncology consultation of the surgery service of the La Trinidad Teaching Medical Center. Materials and methods: A descriptive observational study of the case series type was carried out. The population consisted of 3,854 patients diagnosed with gynecological cancer, from which 350 records diagnosed with gynecological cancer with 2 neoplasms in different body locations were selected, who attended the Oncological Gynecology consultation at the La Trinidad Teaching Medical Center from 2000-2020. Results: 350 records of patients diagnosed with gynecological cancer with 2 neoplasms in different body locations were evaluated, of which, according to the exclusion criteria, 4 cases were diagnosed with synchronous cancer, representing a 1.1% frequency in the consultation. Conclusion: The diagnosis of synchronous cancer should always be considered in all patients when they present some type of gynecological cancer, since this condition is becoming more frequent, it is corroborated that the survival and relapse-free time of the disease will depend on the correct staging of each of the cancers separately from the imaging studies.
