OBJECTIVE: To present the results of our experience during the period 2010-2023 in patients with Basal Cell Carcinoma using external radiotherapy as treatment, in the GURVE Oncology Radiotherapy services. METHOD: 49 patients were selected during the period 2010-2023 who met the inclusion criteria and were treated with external radiotherapy. RESULTS: A population of 49 patients was evaluated, the median age was 70 years, the most commonly used treatment technique was with 6 MeV electrons, the most commonly used scheme was 250 cGy for 22 fractions, acute skin complications were less than grade III, there was no significant toxicity in the mucosa and they were less than grade II. OS at 1 - 2 years was 91.3% SD 4.8% at 5 years 57.0% SD 9.7%. In relation to the CSS at 1 year, 2 years and 5 years it was 97.4% 2.5%, SLR at 2 years was 100% at 5 years 96.0% 3.9%. CONCLUSION: Our results demonstrate that the administration of Radiotherapy as a treatment has proven to be safe and effective in local control, overall survival and CSS.
