Tumors of the cecal appendix correspond to 0.5% of gastrointestinal neoplasms and their prognosis depends on the type of tumor. The majority of patients are operated on for suspected acute appendicitis or even ovarian tumor, and the diagnosis of the appendiceal tumor is made as a finding in the pathological study, with benign and malignant tumors of the appendix existing. An exhaustive review of 9,900 records from the gynecology oncology clinic of the La Trinidad Medical Teaching Center and the La Floresta Medical Institute was carried out between 2016-2023 and 3 patients were found: appendiceal mucinous cystadenoma simulating right ovarian tumor, appendiceal mucinous neoplasia low-grade and low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm with metastasis to the right ovary. These are conditions that are becoming more frequent in the population and a multidisciplinary team is needed to guarantee a good prognosis
