The anterior cruciate ligament is the most frequently injured knee ligament, accounting for nearly half of all knee injuries. This group of patients benefits from ligament reconstruction through different types of interventions, LARS being one of the most effective. The objective is to analyze the effectiveness of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction in patients with the LARS synthetic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction system in the knee unit of the La Trinidad Medical Teaching Center in the period January 2014 - August 2024. This is a documentary study , retrospective temporality, closed cohort with the random selection of a sample of 30 medical records of patients in whom the LARS system was applied for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament during the years 2014 to 2024. A total of 30 patients were evaluated , of which 26 (86.5%) are considered therapeutic success, with a predominance of the male sex for a ratio of 6.5:1 and an average age of 41.3 + 12.4 years, with an equitable distribution Among the age groups, there was a statistically significant modification between the TLs score values between the initial and current evaluation; In patients considered to have therapeutic failure, modifiable risk factors were identified such as lack of compliance with rehabilitation and maintenance of high-impact joint physical activity. The LARS intervention is an effective and efficient method for the treatment of ACL injuries.
