Office-based medialization laryngoplasty is few studied and applied technique in Venezuela that offers multiple advantages that can generate a significant cost-benefit. Objective: to present the experience of vocal cord medialization in the office in patients who attended the Otorhinolaryngology clinic of the Centro Médico Docente La Trinidad between February 2022 and October 2023. Method: ambispective, descriptive study. Results: A total of 06 patients underwent an injection with CaHA implant in the vocal folds. Three patients with complete evaluation data were included. The VHI-10 and visual analogue scale scores demonstrated a marked improvement in voice self-perception. The overall average of the VHI-10 prior to medialization with CaHa implant was 37 points, and the average after medialization was 7 points. The general average of voice self-perception evaluated by VAS before the procedure was 9 points and 1 afterwards. Tolerance to the procedure evaluated by VAS was reported as tolerable in 2 patients and in one patient as very painful, with an overall average of 6. Complete evaluation data were not available for the remaining three patients. No complications were reported. Conclusions: Vocal fold medialization with CaHA implantation in the office for the management of unilateral vocal fold paralysis appears to be a safe procedure with a low complication rate and effective results even in the long term.
