Objective: To develop a digital tool for residents and specialists in gynecology for the staging, diagnosis and management of pelvic organ prolapse, according to the pelvic organ prolapse quantification system (POP-Q). Method: Study framed in the feasible project modality. The first stage of diagnosis and observation, prospective and descriptive, included 10 residents and specialists in gynecology and obstetrics, to whom a self-knowledge questionnaire on the POP-Q system was applied; subsequently, a mobile application was designed, which was validated by pelvic floor specialists, and tested with the same participants. Results: Only 70% of the participants applied the pelvic organ prolapse quantification system. 50 % of them determine a surgical conduct, but only 30 % are sure that it is the right one. No participant was able to propose all surgical alternatives. Conclusion: The design of this digital tool is very useful for gynecologists who are not pelvic floor specialists.
