Cardiac magnetic resonance is a reproducible, easy study that requires the administration of contrast medium, with a duration of no more than 60 minutes, which allows the safe, accurate and precise detection of myocardial contractility disorders, functional values of the various cardiac chambers, myocardial edema and pericardial effusion with special emphasis on myocardial fibrosis. Three cardiac magnetic resonances were performed in patients with a history of arterial hypertension already diagnosed and in current treatment, denying previous typical and atypical anginal symptoms, fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria, identifying the presence of myocardial fibrosis in all the participants, as well as in 1 of them a significant reduction in stroke volume and systolic ejection fraction.
