Bariatric surgery is an effective technique for the treatment of obesity due to its low morbidity and mortality. However, after this surgery there is a massive weight loss that results in excess skin and flaccidity, causing a generalized deformity and thus leaving patients dissatisfied as well as causing psychological and social stigmas and limitations in terms of health, for It is important to comply with the treatment from start to finish and include reconstructive surgery depending on the requirements of each individual, this is the last step to follow to comply with the harmony of the human body, return the structures to their place and improve the quality of life of patients. The objective is to report a clinical case of the links of the obesity treatment protocol at the surgical level, beginning with bariatric surgery and ending with reconstructive surgery and treatment of the abdominal wall. This clinical report represents the case of performing reconstructive surgery after bariatric surgery through a follow-up period of 8 years.
