Pituitary tumors represent the most frequent form of intercranial tumor in 14.7% of cases. They result from monoclonal cell proliferation, mostly sporadic, are predominantly benign and slow-growing, but they can have significant morbidity and even premature mortality, therefore they can represent a significant challenge, due to the complexity of the diagnostic approach and the therapeutic management in a timely manner, therefore, it is important to implement tools that will allow recording the behaviour of patients to improve approach strategies. Material and Methods: in order to characterize tis entity, an epidemiological registry of Hypophysis Tumors of the Endocrinology Service at the Centro Médico Docente la Trinidad 2017-2020 is carried out; a descriptive and retrospective study was structured of patients with a diagnosis of pituitary tumors who attended the center. Results: the total population was 109 patients, within which differences were established between the different type of tumors, finding the following distribution: Non-functioning 51%, Prolactinomas 27%, Cushing's disease 11%, Acromegaly 10% and 2 Craniopharyngiomas 1%. Conclusion: the importance of the pituitary tumor registry systema, which represent a necessary clinical resource, which allows the analysis of the data extracted from medical records in order to create institutional strategies that optimize the diagnostic and therapeutic approach, based on the individual demands of these patients and the resources available
