Prolactinomas were responsible for hyperprolactinemia in 67.44%, mostly microadenomas 68.9%. Macroadenomas were present in 9 patients (31.03%), 8 of them were treated surgically. Clinical symptoms and comorbidities in the 43 patients with hyperprolactinemia were: menstrual irregularities, dyslipidemia and overweight. Average prolactin was in relation to tumor volume. All patients received cabergoline, 8 underwent surgery. Presenting sequelae more in relation to tumor size than surgery.
